Ok so it’s the 1st December time for another journal. My Deviations have been a little slow of late mainly because my University work has taken priority, but also I’m working on a piece for my farther for xmas and its pretty silly big and time consuming, but by God, Vishnu and Batman it shall be done. Finding a work space big enough is the main issue as my desk is pretty small but I’ll take over a flat mate’s room at some point today and work on it....anything to avoid the essays and the holiday cheer.

And that brings us to xmas....that’s right xmas. I refuse to call it Christmas as I’m not a Christian so feel it’s hypocritical of me to celebrate it. Instead I celebrate xmas which is a time of family, giving, receiving and eating too much. It falls at about the same time as Christmas each year so there is a handy cross over I’m just not a cheery person around xmas. It’s a time of year where we reflect on all we have but for some, like me, it throws into stark relief that which we have lost. It’s a bit of a sad time of year for me but it’s a holiday and I won’t have the name Adra dragged into familiarity with anything other than being a party person.

As this site is open to my friends I find it hard to open up about more personal things in the journal so I apologise for its lack of meat. Let’s just say as always I am seeking a significant other but am frustrated by failure and leave it at that. I have a great family and amazing friends so maybe I’m just being selfish...meh who knows.
